Pebble Smartwatch Support - App v1.4.9

Post by DemoPad » Mon Apr 21, 2014 3:47 pm

New version of app released v1.4.9, and new version of PC Designer software - with support for the Pebble smartwatch. (Requires iOS version 6 or later)

To configure: download the pebble app to your iOS device (link shown on the configuration screen), and create your own top level menus and submenus with actions to determine what happens when you navigate to certain menus on the pebble.

Note: the DemoControlHD app must be running (so have multitasking turned on) for the Pebble functions to work.

I have created a Pebble interface in Designer, updated to the latest ios Demopad.
Downloaded and configured the ios Pebble app, but nothing is showing on the watch after reloading my Demopad project

How do you get the Demopad app to show on the pebble. The only way I see to load apps on the pebble is through there app store and when I search for Demopad it only gives a companion app (a link to iTunes DemopadHD).

I did see the link to the pbw file on the config screen, but what do I do with that link??

Browse to the .pbw link on your iOS device, and 'Open with Pebble' when asked - this will install the app on your Pebble.

For the next update, a 'push and hold' for volume and the likes would be mint, otherwise loving how easy it is :D

That is already on the development list, as is feedback (label text, and watch vibrate when a specific flag is set)....

Excellent, how far away is the Centro App for update with Pebble integration?

It will be in the next app update for the Centro - which will be submitted to Apple next week.

Hi

What is the recommended Pebble model to config with Demopad? for maximum userability?

As far as we are aware, they are all identical in terms of the technical specification - so it doesn't matter - only the physical appearance differs.
