Now that iOS 6 is here, there is a particularly useful feature: Guided Access in the Accessibility settings. Allows you to lock the device into a single app, and can prevent it going to sleep, it will just dim the screen. Also lets you prevent someone rotating the device. Once you've enabled the setting, triple click the home button whilst in the app to activate it....

Very interesting. I'm in the middle of trying it out. Do you know if the time until the screen dims can be set up? Seems like a good tweak for us using our Iphone/Ipad as a even controller. It would be cool if you could set up that the screen undims when the idevice is being moved. Like the Screen Dim/Undim option when the Ipad is jailbroken.
