Keep Demopad Up When iPad Sleeps?

I have finished my Demopad customization and am using an iPad Mini and a WF2IR, I am really liking it so far. I do have one gripe though…
for example, I am watching my DVR, every time there is a commercial I have to hit the home button, swipe to unlock the iPad and then click the Demopad to open it. By searching I know that there isn't much I can do on the iPad itself without hurting the battery and keeping it on all the time. What about at least keeping Demopad up so when I wake and unlock the screen it goes right to the Demopad screen I was last on?

Open settings within your iPad, go to the Demopad App settings and enable (turn on) "multitasking" and "remember last page", you now have a solution to your problem

Have you tried setting Multitasking 'on' in the DemoPad Control parameters?
