Re: Onkyo IP Commands
Thanks for posting the Commands. What Port and Command Suffix do you use as I'm struggling to get this is work?
Cheers

Re: Onkyo IP Commands
You need to enable network control in the settings for the amp, the port is configurable there. The default suffix of \x0D\x0A works.

Re: Onkyo IP Commands
Hi,
i have the NR717 Receiver.
Many Commands are not listed like BD Source or Ch+, Ch-.
Has anyone all IP Commands for the newer Models of Onkyo?

Re: Onkyo IP Commands
Do you know the default port number for the device as my commands do not seem to be working? :/
Re: Onkyo IP Commands
Think default port is 60000/60128, but it can be set from the menu. Think you also need to enable remote control via IP in there as well.

Re: Onkyo IP Commands
It still doesnt seem to work. I have set a static ip address up on the onkyo device but cant see an option for the port settings. Is this ip control compatiable with the 414 model?
Re: Onkyo IP Commands
Onkyo provide a free app to control the 414 - suggest downloading that first & making sure it works through there. The 414 does allow IP commands. You can email support@demopad.com for the protocol document, but I believe the commands are the same as those posted here.

Re: Onkyo IP Commands
The default Port is 60128.
I got a newer IP List from Onkyo for newer models like my NR717.
I must promise to do not release the list I dont know why?

Re: Onkyo IP Commands
Having some trouble getting even a simple "on" or "off" button to work Tx-NR 515,
Ive checked the Amp has an IP address which can be pinged, I have downloaded the command list at the start of this topic..
When I run the Test it says "Command Sent"
This is the string I am using
ISCP\x00\x00\x00\x10\x00\x00\x00\x08\x01\x00\x00\x00!1PWR01\x0D
The device is on port 60128 with UDP ticked,
The Amp works on the Onkyo remote on my HTC..
Any ideas, bit of a noob at all this here
thanks
steve

This is the string I am using on my Onkyo TX-NR1008 -
ISCP\x00\x00\x00\x10\x00\x00\x00\x08\x01\x00\x00\x00!1PWR01\x0D and it works fine.
I believe the UDP should NOT be ticked.
