Removing a project

As I was learning DemoPad designer, I had created a couple of test projects which keep showing up in the projects available library. Is there a way to delete these projects? I did a number of searches here for the answer but couldn’t find that information. If somehow I missed the instruction, just point me in the right direction.

Projects stored on the cloud need to be removed by demopad support - just email in to support@demopad.com with your cloud account details & project names to remove.

These are projects only stored on my PC. I know I can go to the PC location but I don’t want to delete the wrong parts of it. My main working project in stored on the PC and the cloud. Thanks.

Then by 'project library' do you mean the list of 5 recent projects in the file menu? There is no way to clear this list currently, no - it is just a list of the most recently open projects. If you want to remove them from your computer, remove the .pad file, _Files folder and any other files with your project name in the same directory (it is best to use 1 directory for each project)

Great topic/thread.

I have the subscription that gives you three cloud QRs but to make cloud space for more jobs (which are always DP hardware), I am constantly deleting old projects from my cloud. Here is the problem! I get called back to make a change. Then with a tiny change made there is no auto update as the QR/cloud string is no longer valid. So the only way to pacify this client is to put the project back up ^.

Is there any way to restore the orininal QR? I currently have to save the project under another name for the cloud to accept the project - this means re-scanning the QRs for all of the family whom are never available!

Polite notice: DP have not charged me more when I accidentally went over 3 projects. Fair play.

Suggest upgrading to the cloud subscription that gives you 100 cloud projects, it sounds like 3 isn't enough for you.
