I am sure this is really simple, I have set up the xbmc cover art pulling the thumbnail for the current movie but I want to know how to reset the label? when nothing is playing it shows the last cover, so I just want to clear the image when it finishes or if I stop the movie,

solved via support@demopad.com - with a blank image which is shown based on a flag - which is set to ON 5 seconds after sending the request to xbmc, unless feedback is received correctly.
