Does DemoPad support or plan to support Insteon IP controllers?

Anybody tried DemoPad against SmartHome's 2242-222 INSTEON Hub?

I don't have one, but I am sure it uses the same protocol as any other Smarthome Insteon device.
So Demopad will work.

I'm hoping so. You're right in saying the Insteon hub would use the same protocol as Insteon devices, when it talks to Insteon devices. But communicating with the Insteon hub is through HTTP(S), so using DemoPad's "Send Data to a Website" action will do it, except you need to understand the 'communicating with Insteon hub' protocol. For example, some installer figured out that type of protocol when talking with an ISY (tutorials); we need a similar experience with the Insteon hub.

I guess we'll learn more after December 7th.

Keep us posted..
My 2412N just gave up the Ghost 2 weeks out of Warranty, but Smarthome is replacing it for me anyway. :D
Their customer service was excellent... Also they told me that Houselinc now supports the 2412N, which makes it easier setting up links.

I would have gone for the Smartlinc (2412N) except its not supported with what I use (HomeSeer & Mark Sandler's Insteon plugin). The Insteon hub has a similar function to the 2412N. Mark is developping support in his Insteon plugin for the Insteon hub, so I'm considering going that way. The only hold back is the current skimpy documentation.
