Pioneer VSX-422 IR Control

Hi there,

First post on the forum!

Looking for some help in controlling a Pioneer VSX-422 using a iTach WF2IR.

I've tried using the hex codes supplied on the pioneer website with no luck, but strangely if i add the pioneer remote to an apple tv unit using the up/down/left/right/enter & menu keys then add the pioneer codes for the same buttons to the itach, it can control the apple tv fine!

I've also tried the same unit at home on my Onkyo receiver which works fine.

Hey, you can try the attached codes below, I have had great success with a few Pioneer installs. I hope they help some and good luck

Got everything working except the separate on and off codes don't seem to work from the Pioneer site which is a pain control wise but I can live with it!

That's great that they worked. I thought that the file had the discrete codes in there, attached is a couple you can try.....hopefully they work for you

HI, not sure if someone here could help with an issue i have on a VSX922. Using some IR cmds (as not all IP ones work). Sometimes pressing one button works fine but then sometimes have to press the same button 5-6 times before it actually executes!

Any idea why so intermittent? I would expect the IR code to execute everytime by just one press.

Why don't you use just IP commands,

Attached VSX922 IP or Rs232 codes,
