Upgrading to App 1.4.2

Post by digikits » Tue Feb 19, 2013 7:15 pm

How do I upgrade my iPad DemocontrolHD to 1.4.2 ? The latest version on Apple is 1.4.1 .
Did I miss something?

I need the following features:
Ability to limit project to portrait or landscape only (requires app 1.4.2 or later)
Adjust screen brightness action type (requires app 1.4.2 or later)

It is not available yet, it is currently being reviewed by Apple - when it goes live on iTunes you'll be able to update.

I see the 1.4.2 has been released. Too bad there is no upgrade version. You have to buy another one to get the new features.

You may want to have a look again at the app store and the "updates". I have just upgraded ours and am about to add a swish sounding startup to our home UI 8-) without purchasing another "app"......

Apple over ever charge you once for an app - all updates are at no extra charge.

The new versions can not be loaded on first or second generation ITouch's, so they don't show up in the updates on the units.
I use a second gen as my main remote so can not take advantage of the new functionality in the last couple of releases.
I f you do have a later gen with ios 6 and the update is not showing, go ahead and go thru the buying process, It will show up as Free when you select it.

I also found, in my case, that the download on iTunes was greyed out, even if both my registered iDevices are IOS 6.1.2.

It's only when I used the App Store application on the devices themselves that I was ably to update.
