The default setting found from my iPad's Settings>>DPad Control>>Project Setup are
Project Location:http://www.demopad/iPad
Project Password: (blank)
Project File Name: iPadHD

So my question is, how can I set up my shared web hosting to have the project downloaded to my iPad just like the default demopad project? I am with 1and1 hosting. I tried to upload the project to my website and setup the project to pointing to my website similar to the default iPad setting. It didn't work.

Here are the setting:
Project Location:http://www.mywebsite/iPad
Project Password: (blank)
Project File Name: iPadHD

When you press F5, the project is 'compiled' and the resulting file is placed in your project.pad_Files folder, which is where all the images etc are located for your project. Upload that entire folder's contents to your web server, and specify the location, and the project name as your project filename, eg if you project file was called mytest.pad, then upload the contents of mytest.pad_Files folder, and specify mytest as the project file name.

The compiled file is a .dc7 (text) file, so make sure your web server can serve that type of file up. A quick test is to browse to, for example:

http://www.mywebsite.com/iPad/mytest.dc7

in your browser & see if you get anything.

Hi, I was looking to Hostgator to host my site then I asked the live chat about hosting opencart and they tell me to go with VPS because they move opencart from sharing for security issues .So I just start my business and don't want expensive hosting.
