Object Lock

Is there a way to prevent an item from moving when you click on it inside of designer? The problem I'm having is when I click on a button/label/picture it slightly shifts left right up or down thus messing up the button spacing.
It would be nice if you could lock the X and Y coords. Then select unlock when you wanted to move it around the page.
