Can anyone tell me what the difference is with the pro software and the basic please?

The pro software has shortcuts to make life easier when designing lots of projects, eg:
Ability to save your own devices, subpages, and building blocks for use in other projects, including the use of command Auto-Assign to quickly program buttons with commands, rather than having to drag commands on to buttons one at a time.
Access to a UI generation wizard for matrix projects
It also gives access to various 3rd party drivers for controlling, for example, a HDL lighting system without needing to understand the protocol & generate your own commands (see the drop down device types in the software)
