What sort of thing are you thinking of, ie for our website/forum or app functionality?

You can trigger IFTTT actions with a simple 'send data to website' request using the Maker channel.

Our Centro-8M hardware is able to respond to that channel also, so you could for example use an Amazon Echo to trigger a Macro running on the Centro-8M...

Could you expand on this usage of the Centro please. I have the Echo and can control any IP controlled hardware using a Hue emulator that routes commands to an ISY994i. The ISY994 then sends the actual control commands over the network.
Being able to launch macros on the centro to update flags or even launch the commands from the Centro would be great.

The Maker channel gives instructions on how to trigger events in IFTTT - using a HTTP GET (ie by browsing to a location) - which is exactly what the 'send data to website' action type has always done. So the app, or a Centro macro can trigger things in the IFTTT world.

In addition, our Centro-8M can respond to HTTP GET commands sent to it - so you can trigger any macro within the Centro-8M. Details will follow when the 8M is released.

Thanks...
I have used the iftt channel but find the response times unreliable, it is the ability to address the Centro 8m direct that has my interest. Looking forward to it's release.

Hi, is there any more info on this? Don't think I've I've missed anything in the documentation?
