I think you are mixing IR (global Cache) with IP.
What Global Cache unit do you have??

" What is the program iTest you refer to?? When tightening since it works when not return to squeeze back works...

Blue Iris JSON API
Has anyone been able to use the Blue Iris JSON API with Demopad.
I am using a couple of the http commands, but there is very little you can do with the few http commands available.

Re: direct IP ethernet Marantz
OK Here is the methods. There are two methods for controlling the Denon/Marantz receivers. The first method uses a JSON Api that is comprehensive in what you can control, however it has a limitation that only one device at a time can control it. If you only have one ios device I suggest you use this...

Re: direct IP ethernet Marantz
The Marantz uses the same protocol as the Denon Receivers.
But there is a Marantz file available on the forum

To add a device look at this.

Re: Philips Hue Lights
Hi, thank you very much. This is very helpful however in my case this is very slow. I mean I have to put a delay of 2.5sec between command to the lights.... which is not really good. My goal is to create a gauge changing the light color as I slide it but with such a slow response time I do not know...

Re: Philips Hue Lights
Not sure what your issue is I don't have a problem with slowness, other than the normal delay that the Hue lights have (same as there own app). How are you sending commands?? If you are trying to send commands to multiple lights at the same time you need to group them and send group commands. If you...

Re: XMBC
Mike,
Like I stated in the post that I gave you a link too....
You do not need to set any port in XBMC, the only setting you need with JSON is the 9090 setting in the Demopad device.
The 9090 is hard coded into XBMC, the port setting in XBMC is only for the Http interface.

Re: IP Camera
Foscam has been reducing the cost of their PTZ Camera. I picked a couple up for $70 each.
Good for indoor use, IR lighting is good for my room 30ft long.

Re: Remote Access
Hi Mike, You just hit the nail on the head with security... We had a thread on https support that I got an answer from Demopad last week. Demopad only supports http remote connections, so by nature is not secure, there is always a risk. How big a risk is hard to judge, someone would have to guess yo...
