Re: SKY HD EPG
I got my aviosys and seems to be working fine, thanks again for the info :D One thing I've noticed though is that live video shows well and smoothly for the first second or so then becomes quite juttery!? I've played around with refresh rates and aviosys settings but this still happens - any thought...

Re: XBMC frodo
I've been diving into the world of jsonrpc, feedback and regex trying to pull info from my raspberry pi running xbmc with varying amounts of success :? and hoping someone can help. I started by using the Demopad XBMC download but it seems this was written "pre Frodo" and that the commands changed fo...

Re: SKY HD EPG
Hi, I'm excited at receiving an Avisoys 9100a to display my sky planner as per Demopad's example :D I'd be very grateful if Demopad or someone could give me a step by step explanation of how to do this please. I have read the Sky HD EPG post and read the manual and whilst I get the basics I'm still ...

Re: Rotary Volume
Wow, thanks for doing this! :D I've sent some images, hope they are useful... I'd echo c27's suggestions really - a rotary dial, ideally with a surrounding LED (as long as it didin't infringe on copyright issues - see iControl AV!?) for the bling side of it, that increases/decrease with rotation of ...

Re: Rotary Volume
Unfortunately, 'tweaking a few things' turned into giving up after far too many hours on this :? As Demopad said, you can get this working ok on a semicircle but major problems with the full circle. Thanks cv27 for the back-up request :) I appreciate this is now in the wrong topic but how about it D...

Re: Rotary Volume
Ah, I see thanks I think I may have cracked-it with the rotary volume control, I really should get out more! If anyone's interested I will post the results once I've tweaked a few things....

Re: Rotary Volume
Thanks, I've had a play around with that and see what you mean. Quick question - what does the 'minimum display offset' value do please? Thanks

Rotary Volume
I've managed to get xbmc (on a Raspberry Pi) working well now through Demopad after some bizarre problems routing it through my receiver - despite too many hours and advice from other forums I ended up buying another sd with xbmc preinstalled, on Raspbian (or something) rather than OpenElec and this...

XBMC and web view
Hi, I'm playing around with XBMC at the mo and although I tried the tutorial, I only got as far as importing the ip commands for a device setup as XBMC but not sure what I do next - can anyone help please? This has also brought me back to a previous problem I had with web views - I get as far a sett...

Re: App Version 1.4.3 real time clock
Yep, I'd gone to all that trouble just cos I wanted a nice-looking clock (I should get out more :D ), at least, one that I think is more readable than the tiny one at the top of the page plus it fits-in with my volume display. As Demopad said, the main advantage with now having the clock is that act...

Re: App Version 1.4.3 real time clock
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I still can't display the time. The way I've tried it is creating images for hours (number variable = Hour, min 0 max 24 default 0) and minutes (number variable is Minutes, min 0 max 60 default 0) set to reveal based on flags for each Hour (00hr to 23hr) and each ...
