Re: NVIDIA SHEILD
Would be good to know how you get on as I've not played with a Shield yet. Bear in mind some devices, although they can be controlled over the LAN with their own control app may have some sort of pairing process which DemoPad may or may not be able to do, an example is the Apple TV and the Apple TV ...

Re: Rotary Volume
I too would absolutely love to see this in DemoPad. It would make a killer feature. I’m in the process of planning the UX with a specialist for a project and he’s added some rotary controls and I haven’t yet told him that’s not possible in DemoPad!

Re: Sonoff Wifi Switch with Feedback
Also there is a new Tasmota Firmware which works much faster with DemoPad. It can be downloaded to your Tasmota devices over the air - very easy. Get it at http://thehackbox.org/tasmota/release/tasmota.bin

Re: NVIDIA SHEILD
Once you have the IP commands 'stripped out', you just add the Shield as a device (with the Shield's IP address and port) in DemoPad Designer, and add the IP commands you've managed to get, to the commands section for that device. Then you can just test the commands directly from DemoPad Designer an...

Re: Sonoff Wifi Switch with Feedback
I just bought a couple of these, and tried to flash with Tasmota over WiFi using Sonota.py (using this method: https://youtu.be/ONFhXM5R-t4), but it keeps failing. Does anyone know if it's because the latest firmware has blocked the ability to flash with Tasmota? Update: I eventually got a USB to se...

Re: NVIDIA SHEILD
I believe the remote that ships with it is IR, so you should be able to capture the IR commands for it and use those. I am not sure if it's possible to use IP commands, I do not have one to play with.

VLC
I have successfully got DP to control VLC running on a Mac (but it could be PC or Linux too, same method). Quite simple, too. -Enable Telnet control in VLC preferences, choose a port (default is 4212), choose a password, save, then restart VLC. At this point you may want to test the telnet connectio...

Re: Cheesegeezer’s Clean UI Project - WIP
I like the heating pages. May I ask, where are you getting the humidity reading from? I'm currently making an indoor air quality monitor that will measure humidity, PM2.5/PM10, air pressure and temperature. Specifically it will be easily query-able by DP over the LAN. The ready made ones that I've s...

Re: Orvibo S20 WiFi Socket
A bit late but I suppose you can now just buy similar sockets that work with IFTTT which you can then use DP to control. Although it would be nice to not have to go out to the web and back just to turn a socket on or off!

Re: Orvibo S20 WiFi Socket
I'm looking for this too - the IP command for power toggle or (even better) the commands for on and off. I know the port the S20 uses is UDP 10000.
