Re: TV Trouble
The dc1 file you downloaded will most likely contain Global Cache 'sendir' infra red commands, for use with an iTach IP2IR - is this what you are using to control the TV via infra red?

Re: Problem download datas
make sure multitasking is turned off in the settings of the app, otherwise the app never restarts, and hence never tries to download the project again. It is recommended to have multitasking turned off while developing your project. Otherwise, you need to double-tap the home screen and press and hol...

Re: DCI files
Or, of course you can just place the whole directory of .dci files into your \images folder, wherever you installed the software, (typically c:\program files\demopad software ltd\demopad designer\images) and then they will show up in the image navigation area on the left of the software window.

Re: DCI files
No, this is our own encrypted file format - you can only use them in DemoDesigner. There are 'select image with preview' options in the software which let you view a whole directory of thumbnails at once.

No, it is an RJ45 connection, but it is not Ethernet.

Re: Error transferring data
You can always send the files in the _Files folder (after pressing F5 / Upload to device) to an FTP somewhere, and download the project from a web location instead of a local upload - just like the app loads a project up from our server the first time the app is installed...

Re: Error transferring data
The upload process is quite unforgiving, if there is any error transferring files then it will fail. Suggest turning off the 'reload images' option on the iOS device if no images have been altered/added, as this will cause the app just to download a single file. if the upload fails, close down the t...

Re: Countdown timer
The flag approach is good for animations / timers which are not 'gauge like', eg a rotating egg timer, but the number approach is probably more efficient for simple progress bars, as it only requires 2 images to be uploaded for the gauge. Either approach works - like most things in DemoPad there are...

Re: Device status aware?
1. We'd need to see how you set up your gauge to control the ISY, but I'm guessing you used a number variable & custom actions. In which case you have 2 choices: a) when you send the command on the button press to change the lights to 35%, also send a command to change the number variable to 35, whi...

Re: Dropped WiFi Connection iPad/iOS6/DemoPad
Are you using the 'send data to website' action type by any chance? This is a blocking command, if the URL cannot be reached for any reason the app will appear to hang while it times out. It is sometimes better to use a device & HTTP GET request command, commands sent to devices are non-blocking. We...

Re: can anyone recomend a 7.1 IP controlable cinema AMP?
The IP connection on that amp is single-client only, so if you have 2 or more iPads trying to communicate with the amp at the same time, only 1 of them will work. If you are just sending commands to the amp, this is fine, as there is a 'disconnect after each command' option in the software, but if y...

Re: IP2CC Global Cache Commands
So you want to be entering that command as: \xFE\x00\x42\x01\x82 in our software (and iTest), using \x format with no spaces, as shown above. You also want to make sure you are using port 4999 (Serial) in iTest and our software, as this is the port that commands need to be sent to. I suspect you are...

Re: IP2CC Global Cache Commands
There is no such thing - if you are sending commands via an IP2SL unit to control an RS232 device, then the command is whatever the RS232 command is for that device, for example to turn on an Epson projector, it might be: PWR ON\x0D There is no "sendserial,1:1..." etc like there is with IR, you just...
