Re: Two same brand A/V receivers question

Thanks, Q1,kind of whatI suspected. So on Q2, if I am able to change the Remote IR address on my 3313ci and send it through the same port (ir blaster port 3) on my GC IP2IR gateway I will still have a issue with interaction between the two receivers, correct? After I get everything working I may hav...

Re: Two same brand A/V receivers question

On Q2, I sent a request to Denon support on how to change the remote IR address on my Denon AVR-3313ci Receiver if possible. Hopefully they will respond.
On Q1. Am I on the right track here?

Two same brand A/V receivers question

I just purchased a Denon AVRX4400H 4K compatible receiver. It hasn't shipped yet. I currently am using a Denon AVR3313ci receiver (IP) controlled that the new receiver will replace. I will be using them both in the same system with different connections. Q1: I'm assuming that if I control them both ...

Re: Need help with flags

Well I finally got it through my thick skull. I had been using two separate flags instead of one and assigning the ON or OFF to it. It’s pretty simple now that I see it in action. As you said in your previous post, only need one flag. DUH!

Thanks for your patience.

Re: Need help with flags

OK, I have it partially working. I set up two buttons, 1 ON Flag to Show when released and 1 OFF flag to hide. Clicking on the subpage object link brings up the Reveal. I set the flag to ON and to reveal from left. When I initially look at it on my iPad the subpage isn’t showing. When I click on the...

Re: Need help with flags

Frustrated! OK, I set up a flags called show component subpage (ON) and Hide component subpage (OFF). Hidden OFF to be the default. I added my subpage entitled “links to components” to the left side of my Home Page, under horizontal view. I set up a transparent large button and in action editor for ...

Need help with flags

I’m just not getting it! I have a subpage called “links to components” this subpage shows up fixed to the left on all my main pages which is OK. I would like however to be able to swipe from left to right on my Home Page and have the subpage appear on the left. Then swipe from right to left and have...

Strange happening

I was using my newly developed DemoPad iPad app last night and on the whole everything was working OK. I went to use the cursor controls for my Dish satellite (IR) receiver an didn’t get any response. I switched over to my iRule app and all worked as intended. When I went to shut everything down usi...

Re: Can't launch Apple remote app

The latest version 11.2.6. When I type Remote:// into Safari it comes up with url can’t be found. Looks like it’s the iOS version on my iPad Air. Also my Apple TV is 3rd generation. It looks like setting it up in demopad could be an option. My problem is, like many, I can’t get the proper IR code fo...

Can't launch Apple remote app

I’ve looked all over this forum and the only command I see to launch the AppleTV remote app on my iPad within DemoPad is “remote://“ (no quotes) in the text area of “Launch a Web Page / other app” . I have it working for my Denon Receiver with. denonremoteapp://. Has the command changed and I’m just...

Re: iPad page scrolling

Rhett7660,
The black areas on the left and right are sub pages. I just haven’t set them up to toggle on and off yet. No a real fan of flags so I’m waiting when I have more patience to attack that process.

Re: iPad page scrolling

In device properties I have a Generic IP device set up called HTPC MAC Adress: IP Address 255.255.255.255, port 7 and UDP checked. On my HTPC Page I have a button called WOL. In the Pre-Defined Commands I have the MAC address set up as explained in the DemoPad link http://forum.demopad.com/viewtopic...

Re: iPad page scrolling

FYI, Well after spending about 2 hours and finally going back to the iRule forum, I was able to get WOL to work work for my HTPC. In the DemoPad example it shows an IP address that needs to be something like 192.168.1.255. In my case 255.255.255.255 as explained in the iRule forum, finally did the t...

Re: Amazon Fire TV

Can’t get this to work. I have a new Fire TV. I set up a new device with my fixed IP address, port 5555 and downloaded the dc1 file. ADB is set to ON in the Fire TV. I’m no familiar with the “initial_command” box. I tried to copy and paste the code in that field but it wouldn’t take. I know I’m doin...
