Re: LG TV RS232 Commands

Hi - interested whether anyone has got these commands working with an LG TV... in particular one of the new flat OLEDs. I was lucky enough to pick one of these up recently. I've managed to use these RS232 codes to turn the TV on (so I know I have the right cable type, RS232 baud, etc settings)... bu...

Text Boxes

Hi there Been a little while since I played with Demopad. Coming back I've got a couple of queries with Text... (1) how can you easily centre a textbox onscreen; short of looking at the object properties to check textbox width & position then do the maths I haven't found an easier way? (2) how can y...

More Gestures?

Just wondering if Demopad has any plans to introduce more gestures in an upcoming release? Context here is that I'm using an Aviosys video server with my Sky box to pull up screen images when I go into the Sky+ menus. What I'd like to do is have the screen image take up most of the iPad mini display...

Re: Dynamic Labels in Commands?

Yes - I've tested at regextester.com; string tests OK with no carriage return identifed. As I say, the odd thing is that if I match the full feedback string using just (.*) & map this to a Dynamic Label, there is no CR after the handle I actually want to identify (which is in the middle of the feedb...

Re: Dynamic Labels in Commands?

Thanks for the reply to my original query. Mostly user error on my part; I've successfully defined a Dynamic Label with a valid handle for my system and then successfully passed that back to the system using the [] syntax to do a valid call of meta-data. What I can't work out is when I pull the hand...

Dynamic Labels in Commands?

Is it possible to use Dynamic Labels in Commands in the same way that you can for Numbers - i.e using [] brackets around the variable label name in the Command? If not, can this be added? I'm trying to integrate a component that sends handles for data values back on events occurring - these handles ...

IP Power Control

Has anyone found a decent IP power control unit that can be controlled by Demopad? I came across the following doing some Googling - Aviosys IP Power 9258S Web Remote Power Switch; this can be controlled by direct http commands and also queried to return status of each socket independently. Interest...

Display Number Value?

I'm sure there must be an obvious way of doing this that I'm missing... but how do you get the project to show the value of a Number variable?

Re: Anthem MRX-500 Receiver Codes

Did you manage to find any Anthem MRX codes? I'm about to buy the MRX300 (so most likely the same codes)... would be very grateful for the time saving if you have them...

Kaleidescape - volume hooks?

Hi there I saw on the Tutorials listing that Demopad supports calling of the Kaleidescape app with the embedded return call back button. Just wondering whether Demopad also supports providing the relevant volume control hooks for the volume buttons in the native Kaleidescape app? Without this there ...
