Re: Alexa with Centro 8m

Hi Mike, There is a way to take iftt out of the picture but you will need to either have a full time PC or Rasberry running. It is a Phillips Hue Emulator. The Echo/Alexa recognizes it as a Hue Bridge and therefore will send commands to it. The actions taken when the Emulator receives the command ar...

Re: Amazon Fire TV

Nope.. I had been making it work for me using HDMI sync, it works for control of the Firetv but is not ideal. Needed a new TV so ended up going the Roku route and bought a Roku TV, best total control of a Media player and TV I have ever had. Although the TV does not power up from IP, it will from a ...

Re: CENTRO-M

A possible issue with using the Device command is that the subscription does not require a constant connection the ISY sends data to the device address as long as the subscription is active. At least that is how I understand it, a maintain connection is not required and all outgoing commands are pas...

Re: CENTRO-M

So what exactlly do we put in the initial command as it does not link to,the commands. Do we type in the command name or the complete command code??? Examples are worth a thousand words. This is another one of these issue where lack of documentation holds us back from using the full capabilities of ...

Re: CENTRO-M

Also have to agree with all the requests for improvements to designer... It is a real pain in the you know what to work with sometimes, so labour intensive to do simple things.

Re: CENTRO-M

When the commands are sent thru the Centro it acts just like the app, so when you restart the Centro it sends out the commands.

Place the ISY Subscribe command in the Project Load/Sartup commands area.

Lots of crashes with Designer v2.306 on Windows 10

I'm not sure which one is causing the problem as Windows 10 updated just after I loaded Designer v2.306. Now Designer crashes approx 3 out of 4 attempts to save, load to device or load to Centro. Eventually it will save or load but it is a real killer for productivity and creativity. I have tried ru...

Re: Philips Hue Lights

That is great... There has been a lot of functionality added to Demopad since it's inception and to the best of my knowledge there is not a comprehensive guide available. It would be terrific if we had one, but even a list of available keywords and there usage would be great. I know from my own expe...

Re: Philips Hue Lights

I should have mentioned in my previous post that this method works without disconnecting after every command and seems to make the commands execute faster.
By the way did you ever get the feedback working, I noticed your previous post that I must have missed when you posted it.

Re: Philips Hue Lights

The content is the character count in the string, since they started to add more capability to the API they must have changed the way the hub processes this. As long as the content length was longer than the string it was fine, now it requires the exact length or it waits for more info... So then co...

Re: IFTTT channel

Thanks...
I have used the iftt channel but find the response times unreliable, it is the ability to address the Centro 8m direct that has my interest. Looking forward to it's release.

Re: IFTTT channel

Could you expand on this usage of the Centro please. I have the Echo and can control any IP controlled hardware using a Hue emulator that routes commands to an ISY994i. The ISY994 then sends the actual control commands over the network. Being able to launch macros on the centro to update flags or ev...

Re: Philips Hue Lights

Did you solve your problem??
I can still control my Hue just fine from the iPhone & iPad, but have trouble if I use the same project on my android tablet.
My hue hub is a first generation but has the latest firmware loaded.
