Re: Pro Software

The pro software has shortcuts to make life easier when designing lots of projects, eg: Ability to save your own devices, subpages, and building blocks for use in other projects, including the use of command Auto-Assign to quickly program buttons with commands, rather than having to drag commands on...

Re: Button with Text after pressed, stays Highlighted

No, but if you had a flag set, and it was not being turned off, then the highlight image would remain. We'd need to see your project to investigate, normally having just 'highlight whilst pressed' only shows the highlight image while your finger is on the button, and should go back to normal when it...

Do you have a flag associated with the highlight image?

Re: Accessing Pro Software

There is only 1 canvas size for the project, but you can use the 'Autosize' option to scale the project onto whichever iOS device you are using

Re: Accessing Pro Software

The in app purchase for the app has nothing to do with using the pro PC software. The in app purchase applies if you use > 1 IP device, and do not use our Centro hardware. If you use our Centro hardware, the app is free. Separately, there is a monthly subscription which gives you access to the pro v...

Re: New fonts

You can use any font which exists on the iOS device, by typing the font name in the drop down list. Apps exist on the app store which show the fonts available on the iOS device.

I am assuming you can have a single button with say four different gestures correct? Swipe L/R/U/D for example?
Correct - each gesture type has its own independent action list

Re: iPad Gestures - inlew of switching to their remote?

Any button can have gesture actions - go to the gesture actions menu & choose the actions to perform when the button is swiped left, right etc. The effect with the trailing lights is done with image sets which are usually hidden, but revealed when flags are set, to give the effect of moving lights.T...

Re: Sending Commands - Need Help

If the LED light on the Global Cache unit lights up when you send the command, then the command was sent. If not, you need to look at IP address, or the sendir,x:x to make sure that is correct. Sony TVs generally need to have their IR codes repeated 3 times for them to work, example command volume u...

Re: Feedback via IR or RS232

Typically, there are no discrete volume commands for Infra-Red, so it is not possible to know what the volume level is. RS232 or IP control should provide volume feedback though, yes - for example for Pioneer, sending the RS232 command: ?V\x0D should result in a response eg VOL10\x0D\x0A which you c...

Re: Holding down button doesn't move the volume up or down

With the press/hold gesture type, you have the option to repeat actions - this means 'repeat whilst the button is being pressed' - typically 0.5 seconds is fine for IR commands, but you can have a play with the frequency.

Re: iPAD Gestures - inlew of switching to their remote?

It is very similar to a gauge, just with x and y rather than just y for a gauge. You won't be able to do much with IR though controlling an AppleTV, as the IR commands are limited.

Re: Lutron Caseta - Can we control them?

We have written nothing specifically for Lutron Caseta, however if telnet control is available, as it is with Lutron QS / Homeworks / GrafikEye, then you should be able to control it - please refer to the Lutron documentation. A sample Lutron QS project is available in the Example Projects section i...

Re: iPAD Gestures - inlew of switching to their remote?

There is the x,y co-ordinate system for any button, which lets you assign 2 number variables (x,y) which change as you slide your finger around. You can then use custom number actions to execute commands depending on the value of the numbers. It depends on the control method though, if you are using...
