Re: Apple TV 4K IP Command Solution

Ignore previous question, after a few scans it finally found my Apple TV. I have another question though - do you find there is a delay between sending a command and it being executed on the Apple TV? I'm seeing about a 2 second delay. Also could you please tell me the correct http command to launch...

Re: Apple TV 4K IP Command Solution

This is great, thank you! I installed Homebridge on a Mac mini also, which runs fine. However I got to the stage to scan for Apple TVs and it keeps saying 'No Apple TVs on network, try again." so I can't get the ID of the Apple TV to add to Homebridge (I only have one Apple TV). Any ideas why it won...

Re: Time clock

I'm sure this would use number variables if it is possible, but you could also consider making a range of macros for the times you want, where selecting one turns that macro on and turns off the current one etc. Also (sorry if you already know), but the centro 8M is astronomically aware so you could...

Just an FYI - Shelly dimmers - they work great with DemoPad with their native firmware. Simple http (port 80) commands, with feedback. Use } as response terminator in feedback section. Command examples: On: GET /light/0?turn=on HTTP/1.0\x0D\x0A Off: GET /light/0?turn=off HTTP/1.0\x0D\x0A Toggle: GET...

Re: Yes No Confirmation Dialog Box

What Peter said. Just use a flag to load the 'confirm' sub-page, or even just buttons on the same page linked to the flag being on. Then yes does the action and cancel turns the flag off and hence the sub-page or buttons

Re: iPad Pro not using the full screen

I think it's because the iPad Pro 11" isn't the same aspect ratio as other iPads (4:3 I think). Hence the bars on the sides. I use an iPad Pro 12.9" and there's a border around sides and top & bottom. I think unless an app has been specifically made to support the new iPad Pro aspect ratios it will ...

Re: Weather report

I've used https://weatherwidget.io with fairly good results - you can customise elements like text and background to match your app. What I really want to do though is find an online service that I can pull data from into DP and display maybe as a label (maybe a HTTP GET command or something like th...

Re: NVIDIA SHEILD

Would be good to know how you get on as I've not played with a Shield yet. Bear in mind some devices, although they can be controlled over the LAN with their own control app may have some sort of pairing process which DemoPad may or may not be able to do, an example is the Apple TV and the Apple TV ...

Re: Rotary Volume

I too would absolutely love to see this in DemoPad. It would make a killer feature. I’m in the process of planning the UX with a specialist for a project and he’s added some rotary controls and I haven’t yet told him that’s not possible in DemoPad! 😩

Re: Sonoff Wifi Switch with Feedback

Also there is a new Tasmota Firmware which works much faster with DemoPad. It can be downloaded to your Tasmota devices over the air - very easy. Get it at http://thehackbox.org/tasmota/release/tasmota.bin

Re: NVIDIA SHEILD

Once you have the IP commands 'stripped out', you just add the Shield as a device (with the Shield's IP address and port) in DemoPad Designer, and add the IP commands you've managed to get, to the commands section for that device. Then you can just test the commands directly from DemoPad Designer an...
